Sales Manager, Mid-Market

Position Overview:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for meeting and exceeding revenue targets for a new business line in a high growth market. This is a unique opportunity to work in a start-up environment, while being part of a successful and established company. This position requires a strong track record hitting revenue targets, and requires hands-on sales management. Multi-channel experience including telesales and channel experience, and the ability to strategically operate in a rapidly changing, ever-improving, fast growing environment is a requirement. The successful candidate will be a high energy, team-oriented, individual who is passionate about winning.

Responsibilities:

  • In depth working knowledge and understanding of the Velocity Sales Model
  • Meet/exceed annual sales targets for a new, high-growth market and product area for a cyber security company.
  • Successfully hire, lead and implement a team targeting the mid-market.
  • Effectively manage team of both entry level and experienced sales people, as well as technical account managers.
  • Manage daily operations of the call center including personnel, scheduling, training, reporting and outbound lead pipelines
  • Develop and coordinate sales cycle methodology
  • Implement, review, update call center policies and procedures
  • Develop and manage to Key Performance Indicators and Metrics, ensuring consistent performance against growth targets.
  • Work closely with the Marketing organization on lead generation activities and campaign development
  • Build/expand/enhance the sales tools, training, and CRM (Salesforce.com) infrastructure to ensure the success of the sales team.
  • Effectively manage sales staff growth, onboarding and turnover.
  • Accurately forecast results.
  • Effectively manage the sales team budget.
  • Build a winning, customer-centric sales culture.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting partner and customer relationships.\
  • Team player with ability to communicate market feedback and requirements to other functions within the organization.
